Frigid temperatures continue through Sunday morning, lows will be near or below zero. Temperatures warm into the 20s starting Sunday and highs will peak in the 20s next week. Temperatures may not rise above freezing for a while, next Friday is the best chance but if that doesn't happen, we could stay below freezing, through Valentine's Day. Lake effect snow will hammer Northwest Indiana, Friday night - Saturday. Travel around Gary-Hammond will be hazardous, including the Toll Road and I-94.
