The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has issued a request for proposals to develop and implement mental health services for school-aged youth in Michigan.

Child and Adolescent Health Center agencies selected will receive ongoing guidance from a project coordinator for implementation of the Expanding, Enhancing Emotion Health Program Expansion.

The Expanding, Enhancing Emotion Health Program Expansion seeks to fund additional sites and provide a safe and caring place for all children and adolescents to learn positive health behaviors.

Also, the program would teach youths coping mechanisms and receive needed support to cultivate healthy students ready and able to learn.

Agencies currently receiving Child and Adolescent Health Center funding may apply until Wednesday, March 3rd.
