Active weather arrives Sunday
One more cool night before temperatures start to warm-up. Friday highs rise into the 80s and temperatures may a run at 90 by Sunday. Monday will be the hottest day, with a heat index in the mid-90s. Temperatures and the humidity will drop gradually through the end of next week. Drought conditions are likely to worsen through the end of August, with little rain expected.
