The humidity is rising through Friday afternoon, the heat index will peak in the mid-90s before scattered thunderstorms and a cold front move through the area. Rain Friday is most likely after 4:00 PM, and could include downpours and lightning. Those going to outdoor events, especially high school football games should be aware of short delays. Damaging wind is not a major concern, but temporary structures like tents should be secured.
The Labor Day Weekend forecast is beautiful. Fair and becoming milder, as the humidity drops. Highs will be in the 70s by Monday.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 70.
Friday: PM thunderstorms. High 92.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 84.
Sunday: Sunny. High 80.
Labor Day: Sunny. High 76.
