The cold continues, temperatures struggle to reach 20, and lows hand near zero until Sunday. There are a couple chances for light snow, Thursday and Saturday morning locally, as South Bend is very close to breaking into the Top Ten snowiest Januarys. Next week is a step in the milder direction, highs in the 20s and lows in the teens. At this point a major snow is not on the horizon; neither is a major warm-up. It is likely temperatures stay below freezing until Valentines Day, possibly beyond. Do not expect an early spring at this point.
Tonight: Snow showers late. Low 6.
Thursday: Flurries. High 18.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 16.
Saturday: AM Snow. High 18.
