Suspect in shooting at Burger King in Michigan City surrenders to police

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The suspect in a shooting at a Burger King in Michigan City on May 10 has surrendered to police.

On June 12, 20-year-old Deiondrai D. Thompkins turned himself in to police just before 11 p.m.

Thompkins is facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery and criminal recklessness.
