Suspect in N. William St. shooting arrested

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit arrested a suspect in the fatal April 28 N. William St. shooting.

Kyle Doroszko, 18, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the shooting of 19-year-old Traychon R. Taylor in the 500 block of N. William St. on April 28.

Taylor was pronounced deceased on April 30 at a local hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for May 1 in Fort Wayne.

Doroszko is being held at the St. Joseph County Jail without bond on preliminary suspicion of murder. As of Wednesday morning, no formal charges had been filed. 

A 17-year-old has also been arrested in conjunction with the investigation and is being held at the Juvenile Justice Center on preliminary suspicion of assisting a criminal.
