Suspect at large after report of shots fired in Starke County

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. - Two people were arrested and another is at large after a report of shots fired near Grovertown Tuesday night. The crime was reported along County Road 300 North just east of State Road 23.

According to Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin tells ABC 57 a helicopter was brought in from Lake County to help search for suspects. Three K9 units were also utilized in the search. Despite the extensive search effort, the third suspect was never found.

Officials say the incident may have started as a domestic dispute. No one was hurt.

The Starke County Sheriff's Department has not released the names of anyone involved.
