Suspect arrested for allegedly starting a fire at Pokagon Band facility

ABC 57 CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- An investigation is underway after a suspect allegedly set a fire at a Pokagon Band facility.
This happened in Cass County. Tribal police were called to the Pokagon Band's housing/facilities maintenance barn the morning of August 13. Officials allege the suspect broke into the barn and set the fire. Pokagon Band officials also allege the suspect broke into the tribe's community center.
The suspect also allegedly unsuccessfully attempted to break into the Pokagon Band's housing building.
Officials say the suspect received medical treatment at a nearby hospital before being taken to the Cass County Jail.
A suspect has not been named.
