UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Mirta Budd has been canceled.

ORIGINAL STORY: NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Avilla Police Department has declared a Statewide Silver Alert for a 72-year-old woman who went missing in the evening of Sunday, May 10.

The 72-year-old woman, Mirta Budd, is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 140 pounds, and white with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Budd was last seen on Sunday, May 10 at 9:40 p.m. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
