Out the door this morning, we are feeling a lot warmer than we would typically expect to this time of year. Feel free to forgo the winter gear today with temperatures starting in the mid 50's and only getting warmer throughout the day. Today brings partly cloudy skies and breezy winds gusting up to 30 mph, but near record high temperatures in the lower 70's this afternoon will provide plenty of opportunity to get outside and enjoy the pleasant weather. Active weather returns tonight with a cold front sweeping across the Midwest, expect heavy rain early tomorrow morning (around 2am) with the chance for a few non-severe thunderstorms. We'll have a wet wake-up tomorrow, but skies dry out around lunchtime. Tuesday afternoon is drier but still cloudy, temperatures will be much cooler but still well above average in the mid to upper 50's. We'll stay in the 50's through the rest of the work week, our next rain chance after tonight will arrive Friday leading us into the weekend.
Today: Partly cloudy and breezy. Near-record high 72.
Tonight: Heavy rain, thunderstorms possible. Low 46.
Tuesday: AM showers. Cooler. High 56.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny. High 56.
