SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The community will soon be able to enjoy new trails near the Old Portage Manor.
This is a project that has been in the works for several months and today we got a preview of the new spot, featuring five to five and a half miles of walking trails, maps posted along the route, a pace for parking, near the Old Portage Manor, and all homeless encampments have been cleared in preparation.
Volunteers say it's been a treat helping get the area ready to welcome the community to the new attraction.
