St. Joseph County officials provide update on COVID-19

South Bend Mayor James Mueller and Dr. Mark Fox of the department of health held a press conference Friday afternoon to discuss the latest on COVID-19.
As of Friday, the county has 1,621 confirmed cases.
There are 30 patients hospitalized either with confirmed COVID-19 or are under investigation.
There have been 65 deaths in St. Joseph County, 62 of those are county residents.
The case rate is 596 per 100,000.
