St. Joseph County leaf pick-up starts October 19

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – This year’s County Leaf Pick-up Program starts today in St. Joseph County.

Registration for the service will run through October and November.

This year, registered residents in the county will have up to four Fall Passes through December 18, weather permitting.

A Spring Pass will also be provided in 2021.

Residents must rake their leaves within five feet of the curb and these piles cannot contain sticks or yard waste.

Rates for pick-up depend on tree density and leaf volume, and leaves will only be collected in front of a residence.

Participants can receive text alerts and emails letting them know when crews will be in their area.
