ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team is investigating a hit-and-run crash near Potato Creek State Park.
Officers were dispatched to the 64700 block of Oak Road on Tuesday at 9:15 p.m.
Police say a car and moped traveling northbound on Oak Road collided.
The car allegedly left the scene of the crash while the driver of the moped suffered from serious injuries.
The victim, and driver of the moped, has been identified as Tyler Zieber, 22, Laporte. He was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical, but stable, condition.
Police are looking for a 1998-2000 model white, silver, or gray Volkswagen Passat that has lower right front grill damage and/or headlight damage.
