UPDATE: South Shore Line trains delayed but on the move

UPDATE: As of 5:20 p.m., train service has resumed.
Official delays:
- Train 113 45-60 minutes delayed
- Train 115 20-30 minutes delayed
- Train 226 60+ minutes late
- Train 128 25-30 minutes delayed
SSL officials said rush hour trains may see some delays due to the previous trains being delayed from a suspected gas odor earlier.
ORIGINAL: GARY, Ind. -- The South Shore Line reported on a possible gas leak near Gary Metro, halting all current train traffic.
NIPSCO has being contacted on the issue, and the length of the delay is unknown at this time.
