South Shore Line to offer active duty military personnel and veterans free transportation November 7 through 11

CHESTERTON, Ind. -- The South Shore Line announced that all active duty military personnel and veterans will be able to ride the South Shore Line for free starting on November 7, running until November 11, on all weekday and weekend trains. 

As train personnel walk through the train, let them know that you are active-duty military personnel or a veteran, and that your ride will be free; no identification is required.  Up to three children 13 years old and under may ride free with each military personnel/veteran on off-peak weekday and all weekend trains.
