South Bend Community Police Review Board met Thursday night
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Police Department honored seven of its officers today.
A ceremony was held at Police Headquarters, where it was announced that four officers had been promoted to sergeant.
Another two sergeants were promoted to lieutenant.
Among those promoted was Amanda Baker, the first woman to become a lieutenant in the South Bend Police Patrol Division.
The department also named Tomar Thomas as the new Patrol Division Captain.
