South Bend Police investigating shooting at Miami Hills Apts.

Photo via Kelly S. Jones SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened at on the south side of town Sunday. According to dispatch, the call came in at 3:43 p.m. about an incident at Miami Hills Apartments.
Officials have confirmed that a woman was shot in the leg and sent to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are saying that it is a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and are currently conducting interviews.
