SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend Mayor James Mueller announced Tuesday that he will be running for reelection.
Mayor Mueller's campaign will focus heavily on community investment.
During his announcement, he promised to strengthen infrastructure, particularly city streets.
He also promised increased public safety, saying the South Bend Police Department will be fully staffed by the end of next year.
Mayor Mueller shared his excitement for new developments happening in South Bend, including the dinosaur museum, the $20 million King Center, the New Neighborhood Homes Initiative, and the possible Ultium Battery Plant in St. Joseph County.
