South Bend high schools hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinics in October

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Community School Corporation is partnering with HealthLinc to host a number of free, walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics at each of the five South Bend public high schools throughout October.

The two-dose Pfizer vaccine will be administered at these clinics.

All clinics will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. except for the clinic at Rise Up Academy, which will be held from 10 a.m. to noon.

Those interested in getting a vaccine can attend one of the following clinics:

Adams High School – 808 Twyckenham Drive

  • First dose – October 5
  • Second dose – October 26

Washington High School – 4747 W. Washington St.

  • First dose – October 7
  • Second dose – October 28

Riley High School – 1902 Fellows St.

  • First dose – October 12
  • Second dose – November 4

Clay High School – 19131 Darden Rd.

  • First dose – October 13
  • Second dose – November 3

Rise Up Academy – 740 N. Eddy St. (10 a.m. to noon)

  • First dose – October 27
  • Second dose – November 17

Students under the age of 18 must bring a signed consent form to receive a vaccination.  

Consent forms are available at each school.

These clinics are open to the community.
