SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Cubs beat the Cedar Rapids Kernel's 2-1 at Four Winds Field on Tuesday.
With the victory against the Kernels, The South Bend Cubs head to Iowa for the next two games starting on Thursday.
If the Cubs beat the Kernels in the second game, they will advance to the championship series. If the Kernels win, game 3 will be played on Friday.
