South Bend Cubs release homestand promotion schedule for 2021 season

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Cubs have released the promotions schedule for this season’s home games.

The team moved up to High A within the Minor League Baseball system this season, so homestands run from Tuesday to Sunday with one opponent in all six games.

One of the new promotions includes Triple Play Tuesday, which includes a game ticket, jumbo hot dog, and 16-ounce soda for $12. The Triple Play must be purchased in advance.

Another new promotion is the Tail Wagging Tuesday. Fans can bring their dogs to the park and enjoy the game with their furry friend.

Giveaway Wednesday is back this season. The first 1,000 fans will receive a South Bend Cubs promotional item. The giveaways will be announced in the coming weeks.

Thirsty Thursday returns with 16 oz domestic draft beer and 24 oz fountain sodas for just $2.

On Fridays, there will be fireworks displays following the games on May 4, May 30, June 9, August 4 and September 5.

Flat screen Saturday returns with drawings for TVs every inning, but you must be present to win.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates on Sundays will still receive a special giveaway item but catch on the field has been moved to after the game. Sundae FUNday is presented by Dairy Queen, ABC57 and B100.

Gates will open 1 hour and 5 minutes before the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday games. Gates open 2 hours and 5 minutes before Friday, Saturday and Sunday games.

Opening Night at Four Winds Field is scheduled for May 4 at 7:05 p.m. versus the Quad Cities River Bandits.
