South Bend Cubs announce theme nights and giveaways for 2022 season
The South Bend Cubs have announced the theme night and giveaway schedule for the 2022 season at Four Winds Field. This year the Cubs have 16 firework nights, 17 giveaway days and 25 theme nights.
New this year will be Marvel themed nights.
On July 10, the Cubs will host Marvel’s Defenders of the Diamond with a Marvel themed giveaway and an appearance by the Hulk. The team will wear special Marvel themed jerseys.
On July 31, the Cubs will host Marvel Super Hero Day. The first 750 kids 12 and under will receive a pair of Marvel & South Bend Cubs themed socks. And there will be a special appearance by Black Panther. The team will wear special Marvel themed jerseys.
Star Wars Night returns on May 14. There will be special appearances by Star Wars Costume Clubs the 501st Garrison and the Taakure Clan of Mandalorian Mercs. The Cubs will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit Beacon Children’s Hospital.
Dino Day returns with Ed’s Dinosaurs live. His cast of prehistoric animals and special guests will be at Four Winds Field on June 26.
In April, the team will celebrate Autism Awareness day on April 10 and College Night on April 21.

- May 28 - Military Appreciation Night - Active duty and veterans receive 2 free tickets to the game, must show military ID
- May 29 – Sunday FUNday Military Appreciation Night - Active duty and veterans receive 2free tickets to the game, must show military ID
- Jun 8 – Teacher Appreciation Night -The South Bend Cubs will recognize local teachers and administrators with two free tickets to the game.
- June 9 - All American Girls Professional Baseball League Night
- June 12 – South Bend Cubs logo baseball giveaway
- June 21 – PBS Kids Day featuring Molly of Denali
- June 22 – Pride Night - the first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a South Bend Cubs pride scarf
- June 23 Cubs Wine Walk - Fans 21 and older can purchase a special Wine Walk ticket package that includes a game ticket, food, South Bend Cubs collectible and sample local wines from around the region.
