ABC57 wins three IBA awards
SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- At the former Clay high school, South Bend Community Schools had their South Bend Showcase of Schools Explore Opportunities, where families can come out and look through PreK- 12 and adult programs available in South Bend Community Schools.
Kids were invited to come in costumes and received candy at each table that they visited along the way.
Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Karla Lee, tells ABC57 how important nights like these are, "It's important to have this every year again, because it gives us the opportunity to build relationships, expand relationships, or establish new relationships."
Lee says that anyone who couldn't make it to the event can call the district directly where they'll be able to directly arrange a site visit at one of their schools.
