South Bend Community Re-Entry Center searching for missing resident

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Officials are searching for a resident who walked away from the South Bend Community Re-Entry Center Tuesday morning, according to the Indiana Department of Correction.

Jessie Hanson, 37, was doing a work detail at a South Bend-area business Tuesday when a witness saw him get into a vehicle at 9:45 a.m.

Hanson is 6 feet tall, about 198 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

He has a Fighting Irish tattoo near his right eye and was last seen wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes, and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

If you see Hanson, you're asked to call police and not approach him.
