South Bend announces first phase of its 2023 paving season

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The City of South Bend has announced their plans for the 2023 paving season. 

Paving season begins this week and is expected to last until early November. 

This year, the city plans to pave more than 80 streets within the first phase. 

Each street is expected to take three to five days to complete, as well as will be closed during working hours (7:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.) 

Motorists should expect detours and delays throughout the paving process.
