Softball coach sentenced to 40 years for child molesting

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A softball coach was sentenced Wednesday to 40 years for child molestation, according to court documents.

Bradley Mathis was sentenced to 40 years with the Indiana Department of Correction for one count of child molesting and 40 years for a second count of child molesting. The sentences will run concurrent with each other.

Mathis pleaded guilty to the two charges as part of a plea agreement.

The other six counts of child molesting were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
