Michiana gets a brief pause in the snowy weather today while maintaining cold temperatures that peak in the mid 20s. Pockets of sunshine open up periodically today, although there is still plenty of cloud cover to go around. Temperatures fall into the upper teens tonight as skies get cloudier, signaling low pressure and snow early tomorrow morning. Accumulations on Friday will be blanketed across the area; around 1-2" are expected by early Saturday morning. Temperatures never reach past freezing this weekend, although we will dry out Saturday and Sunday.
