ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- All month long, the Humane Society of St. Joseph County has been celebrating Christmas in July with lower-than-normal adoption fees, and as the month comes to a close, there is still time to give a furry friend their forever home.
"Our shelter is at capacity, and ending the month strong with your help would make a big difference," Humane Society officials said.
Cats are available for $12 and dogs for $25 through the end of the month and the shelter is always accepting donations of dog and cat food, as well as cat litter.
