Metro Homicide investigating fatal shooting on Dunham Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting in the 1200 block of Dunham St.

South Bend Police officers heard gunshots coming from the area of W. Dunham Street in South Bend at 2:59 a.m. on Wednesday.

Upon arriving on the scene police were informed a victim inside of a house on the 1200 block of Dunham Street.

The victim was pronounced dead on scene.

Police have identified the deceased victim as Lateisha Burnett, 28. 

Two other victims were transported to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
