Sherrone Moore announced as next head football coach for Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Former Offensive Coordinator Sherrone Moore was announced as the next Head Football Coach for the University of Michigan Friday evening.

Moore served as interim head coach while Jim Harbaugh served his three-game suspension, in which he kept the team undefeated.

The Kansas native has held various coaching positions since 2009 and played as an offensive guard for legendary coach Bob Stoops at Oklahoma from 2006-2007.
