Secretary Pete Buttigieg participates in White House press briefing

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg participated in the daily White House press briefing on Friday.

Buttigieg joined White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki to speak and field questions from members of the press about President Joe Biden’s sweeping $2 trillion infrastructure plan.

The former South Bend mayor and presidential candidate was confirmed two months ago.

Since then, Biden has tapped Buttigieg and four other Cabinet members to sell the infrastructure plan to Congress and the American public.
