School City of Mishawaka to have virtual classes the first 6 weeks

School City of Mishawaka students will not return to in-person classes for the first six weeks of the school year after the Board of Trustees approved its reopening plan on Wednesday.

Students will have two virtual learning options to choose from for the first six weeks.

Parents will be asked to fill out a survey before the six weeks end, which will help determine whether in-person classes resume.

School begins August 12 and the virtual classes will run through at least September 18.
