UPDATE (10:30 p.m.) -- ABC57's Leo Goldman spoke with investigators on scene.
Lieutenant Ingle of South Bend Police Department tells us they were investigating a report of a motor-vehicle theft where one shot was fired.
There is one suspect in custody.
The victim's injuries are non-life threatening.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Dispatch confirms South Bend Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at 9:05 p.m. on Western Avenue and Sheridan Street.
Once responders arrived on scene, they located someone who had been shot in the arm.
ABC57 is working to learn more, this is still an ongoing investigation.
