UPDATE: 8-year-old in serious condition following shooting at Laurel Woods Apartments

UPDATE TWO: SBPD confirmed the age of the victim as 8 years old.

UPDATE:  SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police responded to reports of a shooting at Laurel Woods Apartments. The call came in around 10:15 p.m.  One female juvenile under the age of 10 is in very serious condition, and one adult female sustained non-life-threatening injuries. 

The Violent Crimes unit is investigating this incident. If you have any information regarding this shooting, contact the Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574- 288- STOP.
