UPDATE: SBPD asking for help locating two teen runaways
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- UPDATE: The South Bend Police Department has now reported 14-year-old Anari Yarbrough was also reported as a runaway juvenile along with 16-year-old Ciara Lukens.
The two girls were last seen together on Feb. 22, near the area of McKinley Avenue and Hickory Road.
Police say it's believed the two ran away together, but it’s unknown if they're together right now.
Yarbrough is described as 5 foot 2 inches tall, approximately 130 pounds, and has black hair in a braid. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and dark-colored pants.
Yarbrough may be carrying a gray blanket and a blue backpack.
ORIGINAL STORY: The South Bend Police Department is looking for 16-year-old Ciara Lukens who has reportedly run away from home.
"Lukens was last seen on Feb. 22, 2025, near the area of McKinley Avenue and Hickory Road," SBPD said. "On that date, she was wearing a black jacket and gray pants. She was also carrying a black backpack and blue shoes. Lukens is described as 5’6”, approximately 240 pounds and has red hair, brown eyes and two piercings on the left side of her nose."
