SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It may still be November, but the holiday spirit is already growing here in Michiana. On Friday, the University Park Mall held its annual tree lighting ceremony.
Santa Claus was there to help light the tree before giving local kids a chance to tell him what they want for Christmas.
Santa and his helpers were out at the mall until 7 p.m. on Friday and will continue to make appearances at the mall through December.
