SOUTH BEND, Ind. - For many standout basketball players, the summer before your junior season can be a busy one. JR Konieczny's certainly was.
The Saint Joseph HS hoops star had just begun growing his list of scholarship offers and taking visits to programs around the state. One of those offers came from Notre Dame, just minutes away, and made Konieczny's decision a simple one. Early or not, the 6'6" forward knew he wanted to represent his hometown and committed to the Irish three and a half weeks later.
