Ribbon-cutting ceremony for Dorothy & Al's Farm Market being held in Berrien Springs on June 6

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of Dorothy & Al's Farm Market is happening at 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on June 6 at Villwocks Outdoor Living in Berrien Springs.

The farm market will be an expansion of Villwocks Outdoor Living.

It is named in honor of owner Michael Villwock's grandparents.

“Dorothy & Al are my grandparents, the ones who introduced me to the world of agriculture and horticulture and helped me fall in love with it,” says Villwock.

“Being able to open a farm market in their honor and continue to provide opportunities for people to connect with our roots means the world to me, my family, and our team,” he added.

There will be multiple regional vendors' products available.

The event will be co-hosted by the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber and the Country Chamber of Commerce.

The event will feature Evelyn Mae's BBQ food truck and live music.
