We kick off Independence Day with a humid and sunny start as dewpoints hover around the mid 60s to low 70s. Some light fog is possible this morning, but minimal travel impacts are expected. Any afternoon holiday plans will likely include rain with scattered showers expected to develop in the early afternoon and wrap up by 6-7 PM before the firework displays begin. Highs reach into the mid 80s today while lows fall back into the upper 60s tonight. Renewed rain chances pop back up Friday, but there is a greater degree of uncertainty regarding when rain will fall. The longer showers linger into tonight/tomorrow morning, the less of a chance for widespread rain tomorrow. Friday will feel similar to today with highs up to the low 80s with a gradual cooldown going into Saturday. The weekend looks to stay dry, but we could see rain return early next week.
Today (Independence Day): Scattered showers. High 85.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 68.
Friday: Rain. High 83.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 78.
