NOW: Quarterbacks speak out on day two of Notre Dame training camp
NEXT:

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Day two of Notre Dame football training camp kept the focus on the ongoing quarterback battle. Quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli repeated head coach Marcus Freeman’s message from day one: the starting job won’t be decided by the coaches; it’ll be earned by whoever steps up.

Practice is designed to test how the quarterbacks respond under pressure and how the team moves around them.

Neither CJ Carr nor Kenny Minchey has started a college game yet, but both say they’re focused on what they can control and not worrying about each other. Improving quick decision-making is a key goal for both as the season approaches.

The tight end room is also looking for a new leader after Mitchell Evans left for the NFL. Senior Eli Raridon leads the way after a strong season last year. Behind him are Ty Washington, Kevin Bauman, and James Flanigan, each hoping to earn a bigger role.

Training camp continues tomorrow, with running backs scheduled to speak. Stay with ABC57 for all your Notre Dame football updates.
