Pulaski County Sheriff investigating murder-suicide
PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. -- With the help of a drone and a K9 unit, the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office was able to locate two bodies early last week that they believe were part of a murder-suicide.
On Oct. 1, the PCSO responded to a request to locate 28-year-old Timothy Alexander and 27-year-old Kimberly Lareau, both of Demotte.
The Demotte Police Department received a request for a welfare check on the two due to comments made in reference to self-harm, and the couple was believed to be in Pulaski County.
"After checking several locations, Deputies with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office located Timothy and Kimberly near Francesville," the PCSO said. "Timothy and Kimberly were found deceased in a wooded area with self-inflicted injuries."
A drone pilot from the Medaryville Fire Department, and the local canine unit assisted search efforts.
"We are still investigating the incident to determine the circumstances," the PCSO said. "We are working in conjunction with the Demotte Police Department and assistance from the Indiana State Police Crime Scene unit."
