Pulaski County Correctional Officer accused of having relationship with inmate

PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. - A Pulaski County correctional officer was arrested for allegedly having a relationship with an inmate, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.

Stacy Small was arrested on the charges of trafficking with an inmate and official misconduct.

On Friday, the sheriff's office was informed of a possible relationship between Small and an inmate.

After conducting several interviews and reviewing camera footage, deputies determined the allegations were true and interviewed Small.

During the interview, deputies discovered she brought controlled substances into the Pulaski County Jail and had given the substances to the inmate, reports said.

Small said a relationship between her and the inmate was planned upon his release from jail, according to reports.

Small was booked into the Pulaski County Jail and then taken to the White County Jail.
