ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The South Shore Line announced that commuters may experience some delays in service during a bicycling event on Friday, June 19 on westbound Train 10 and 30.

Around 35 passengers with bicycles who are participating in “Le Tour de Shore” will board Train 10 at 11th St. Michigan City and Dune Park stations on Friday morning, detraining at Millennium Station.

In the afternoon, around 15 passengers with bicycles will board Train 30 at Dune Park destined for Millennium Station.

To accommodate this event, additional bike racks will be added to the rear of Train 10 and Train 30.  South Shore Line crew members are prepared to minimize the impact of the boarding and unloading; however, please be aware delays are possible due to the nature of the event.
