Potawatomi Zoo opens up for Winter Days through March

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Potawatomi Zoo will reopen on certain days through the winter, with one of those days to include Saturday.

Winter Days will continue on January 25, February 8, 22, and March 7 from 12 to 3 p.m.

The Zoo encourages guests to visit in order to view how the animals’ habits change in the winter season.

“Many of our animals enjoy the winter and behave very differently when the temperature changes,” said Josh Sisk, executive director of the Zoo. “We love giving people the chance to see the Zoo in every season.”

Winter Days are free for Zoo members but regular admission is $5.50 per person.

Proceeds from Saturday’s admission will go to support organizations rescuing and rehabilitating animals in the Australian bushfires.
