Portion of SR 2 in La Porte will be closed October 24

Photo courtesy of INDOT LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind.—INDOT will close a lane of State Road 2 in La Porte on October 24 to accommodate La Porte Hospital’s Patient Move Day.
The right westbound lane of State Road 2 between Teegarden Street and Madison Street in downtown La Porte will close beginning at 5 a.m. on Saturday and continue through the early afternoon.
Patients will be transferred from the old hospital to the new hospital during the road closure.
City law enforcement will be closing off side streets surrounding hospital buildings during the closure.
