’For the Love of Art Fair’ comes to South Bend Feb. 1
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has identified 25-year-old Andre Nolan of Indianapolis as the man who was killed by gunfire early Saturday morning at the Irish Hills apartment complex in South Bend.
South Bend Police Department responded to the shooting early Saturday morning.
The call came in at 1:59 a.m. in the 4400 block of Irish Hills Drive according to dispatch.
Upon arriving, officers discovered a male individual inside of an apartment. He died as a result of an apparent gunshot wound, according to a press release.
Investigators say that there small gathering at one of the apartments, and an argument ensued before shots were fired.
It was also revealed that a 24-year-old female was also hit by gunfire. She was transported to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Am autopsy has been scheduled for Sunday in Fort Wayne.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is currently handling the investigation.
