Police release identity of man found deceased on Cherry Street

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety has released the identity of the man who was found deceased Saturday afternoon in the 500 block of Cherry Street.
The man was found in a field near 525 Cherry. He had no visible injuries or obvious trauma.
He was identified during autopsy as Edward Thomas-Lindsey, 39, of Benton Harbor.
The autopsy found no obvious signs of death. The investigation is ongoing.
