Suicidal subject taken to the hospital

A man was transported to the hospital after an apparent suicide attempt at a residence on Gumwood, according to St. Joseph County Police.
Police were called to the area around 4:15 p.m. and closed a portion of the roadway.
The man was located and transported to the hospital.
